Most of the waste of wood resources is due to the fact that wet wood has not been dried or improperly treated, resulting in the degradation of wood and even loss of use value.

Steam drying accounts for more than 80% of the existing wood drying equipment. Furnace gas and direct-fired flue gas drying are more common in small enterprises. Boiler is used as heating equipment in steam drying. The average thermal efficiency of industrial boilers and their pipe networks in China is only 60%. 3) Principle of Microwave Drying of Wood

Wood microwave drying is a new technology, which has the advantages ofuniform heating, fast drying speed, non-deformity, good quality, and is conducive to continuous and automated production.

Wood microwave drying is different from traditional wood drying equipment, it is a frequency of 300 MHZ to 300 GMHZ, its corresponding wavelength is MM to DM (10-10M) order of magnitude, than light wave, infrared wave length, belongs to high-frequency electromagnetic wave.

Microwave heating is carried out at the same time inside and outside the material, which has the characteristics of instant heating and no thermal inertia, so it is easy to control in the drying process, and there is no noise and harmful gas emissions. It belongs toenvironmental protection drying technology. Simply speaking, microwave is directly heated through the moisture contained in the material and absorbed by the wood itself.
