3.What´s thepurposewe need wood drying machine?
Most of the waste of wood resources is due to the fact that wet wood has not been dried or improperly treated, resulting in the degradation of wood and even loss of use value.
The purpose of wood drying treatment is:

(2) to improve the mechanical strength and physical properties of wood
(3) to prevent wood decay and moth
(4) to reduce the weight of wood
4. Present situation of wood drying technology
1)Wood drying industry has great potential for development.
The drying capacity of middle developed countries can reach 30% of the required drying capacity, while that of the United States is as high as 60%.
2) High energy consumption in drying and environmental pollution serious problem
Steam drying accounts for more than 80% of the existing wood drying equipment. Furnace gas and direct-fired flue gas drying are more common in small enterprises. Boiler is used as heating equipment in steam drying. The average thermal efficiency of industrial boilers and their pipe networks in China is only 60%. At the same time, the heat loss of steam drying´s inlet and exhaust accounts for about 40% of the steam heat energy. In addition, there are heat loss of wall gates and so on. Therefore, the primary energy utilization rate of steam drying is generally less than 30%. The high energy consumption of drying not only increases the cost of products, but also increases the smoke and exhaust gas discharged from boilers and drying chambers, thus increasing the pollution of these harmful substances to the atmosphere.
3) Principle of Microwave Drying of Wood
Wood microwave drying is a new technology, which has the advantages ofuniform heating, fast drying speed, non-deformity, good quality, and is conducive to continuous and automated production.
Wood microwave drying is different from traditional wood drying equipment, it is a frequency of 300 MHZ to 300 GMHZ, its corresponding wavelength is MM to DM (10-10M) order of magnitude, than light wave, infrared wave length, belongs to high-frequency electromagnetic wave.
Microwave heating is carried out at the same time inside and outside the material, which has the characteristics of instant heating and no thermal inertia, so it is easy to control in the drying process, and there is no noise and harmful gas emissions. It belongs toenvironmental protection drying technology. Simply speaking, microwave is directly heated through the moisture contained in the material and absorbed by the wood itself. Because of the evaporation of moisture on the surface of the material, the temperature inside the material is higher than that on the surface. The pressure difference inside the material forms outward, which accelerates the surface migration of water. Therefore, the drying speed of wood by microwave is much faster than that by convective drying by 20 - 30 times. Compared with far infrared and steam drying,the energy consumption is reduced by more than 25%.
